- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is hosting an employee recognition reception January 15, 2008 at its Alexandria campus. The USPTO has a requirement for food and beverage for approximately 6800 employees. This announcement incorporates FAR provisions and clauses in effect through FAR FAC 2005-18 and constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is PROC080Employees. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The requirements will be fulfilled using the Simplified Acquisition procedures, FAR Part 13. The period of performance is a January 15, 2008. Place of performance the USPTO campus in Alexandria, VA (2-4pm) and the USPTO South Tower Building in Crystal City (1-2pm). The facility must be able to provide the food, beverage and support the morning of January 15, 2008. To be eligible for award under this solicitation, the quoter must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration website (www.ccr.gov) and accept Government purchase orders.
