- The purpose of this modification is to provide answers to questions. The deadline for submitting the proposal remains as Tuesday, September 11 at 5 PM. Q1. The successful awardee has 45 days to deliver new vehicles after USSS provides the necessary details. What happens when a manufacturer cannot deliver the new model year vehicle within that time period? A1. The successful awardee must deliver an equivalent interim vehicle or request that USSS keep the previous model year vehicle until the manufacturer's new model year vehicle is available. Q2. For CLIN's 600 - 604, is that for six or seven Lincoln Town Cars? A2. CLIN's 600 - 604 are for six Lincoln Town Cars or equivalent. Q3. For CLIN's 600 - 604, what is the model of the six Lincoln Town Cars? A3. CLIN 600 - 604 are six Executive L Series Lincoln Town Cars or equivalent. Q4. In CLIN's 700 - 704, 1 Ford E-150 Van, what does this mean: "REAR CONTROL WITH 2 SETS OF HEADPHONES"? A4. The requirement is for rear controls for heating/AC and for controlling a DVD player.
