Description

This is a Presolicitation notice for commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice and its attachment constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number HSSS01-07-R-0042 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-19. The NAICS code is 532112 Passenger Car Leasing, and the small business size standard is $23.5 million. This is an unrestricted action. The United States Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement to lease various American-made cars for various terms. For the base year, 25 cars are to be leased. The anticipated period of performance for the base year is 10/01/2007 through 09/30/2008 with four option years from 10/01/2008 through 09/30/2012. Please download the attachment which will be available on or about Tuesday, August 28 for further information. Proposals are due by 5:00 PM EST on Monday, September 10, 2007. The Government will not be responsible for any costs accrued or incurred by the vendor in response to this solicitation.
