- Description
- The Air Force Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency (AF ISR Agency) wishes to acquire MATLAB Software and Maintenance. Offerors are required to provide the unit and extended prices for MATLAB software and maintenance for FY08 per the RFP uploaded with this synopsis. OFFERORS ARE REQUIRED TO INCLUDE THEIR SHIPPING CHARGES IN THE CLINS FOR THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT. Justification for noncompetitive/Brand Name action: 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) Intended Source(s): The MathWorks, Inc., 3 Apple Hill Drive, Natick, MA 01760-2098. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The National American Industrial Classification (NAIC) for this acquisition is 511210, $23,000,000. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-19 (effective 17 Sep 07), FAC 2005-20 (effective 6 Sep 07) and DCN 20070913. The following provisions/clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability to meet the Government?s requirement, and price.
