- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), Anti-Armor Program Office, Quantico VA, has a requirement for the work efforts required to design, develop, integrate, test, produce and prepare associated documentation, provide logistical support, provide technical support, and deliver the Shoulder-launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon (SMAW II). This requirement includes the associated Program Management, Government Furnished Property, Meetings and Reviews, System Engineering, Testing and Verification, Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health, Configuration Management, Integrated Logistics Support, Software, and Contractor Performance Measurement. The contractor is responsible for providing all/specific material, services and necessary support documentation needed to complete the tasks identified in the applicable requirements documents. The scope of the work includes support of the Government conducted Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332993. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, test equipment and transportation necessary to provide the containers. The anticipated contract will initially be Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee, converting to a Fixed-Price-Incentive-Firm contract. Expected award will be in January 2008. The RFP (M67854-07-R-1123) and any subsequent amendments/information will be provided via electronic means at www.neco.navy.mil or www.fedbizopps.gov . This is not a request for proposals or a guarantee of forthcoming solicitation. It should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. government to issue a solicitation. Any information provided to the Government in response to this Synopsis and follow-on RFP will become USMC property and will not be returned.
