- Description
- The Government intends to negotiate a two (2) month bridge contract extension to extend contract N00189-03-D-0003 for husbanding services with Brazil in order to complete the formulation of a regional husbanding service provider contract in 2007. An Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with firm fixed prices is anticipated. This acquisition will be negotiated pursuant to 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, as implemented by Section 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, as implemented by FAR 13.501 (a), a Sole Source acquisition under the authority of the test program for certain commercial items.
