- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. You may also access information on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm This Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane requirement is for an anticipated 5 year IDIQ contract for Special Operations Visual Augmentation Systems (SOVAS) Hand Held Imager-Medium Range (HHI-MR). The solicitation will be issued on a full and open competition basis using a Statement of Work and a Performance Specification. Two product samples will be required to be submitted with the proposal. Anticipated CLINS are as follows: CLIN 0001 will be for SOVAS HHI-MR units for a minimum quantity of 17 each, maximum quantity of 750 each. CLIN 0002 for Non-Warranty Failure Analysis, CLIN 0003 for Non-Warranty Repair, CLIN 0004 for PIO-Spare Parts and CLIN 0005 for Associated Data. FOB Destination, Inspection at source, UID labeling required. Delivery lead time is 25 each within 60 days of effective date of order, to continue at a rate of 25 every 30 days thereafter until complete. Accelerated deliveries are desirable. The solicitation will be posted on the NSWC Crane we bsite at www.crane.navy.mil; no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offerors will be required to submit product samples, technical, past performance, and price proposals. Award will be made on a best value basis. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about December 10, 2007. All responsible sources may submit an offer that will be considered.
