- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA, intends to negotiate and award a period of performance extension on the existing cost plus fixed fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) N6893604D0005 contract using other than full and open competition to Raytheon Company, Goleta, CA. Raytheon Company is the designer and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of both the AN/ALR-67(V)3 and the AN/ALE-50A and is the only contractor possessing the technical data, production tooling, special tools, test equipment, knowledge, expertise and in-depth experience to provide the required supplies and services within the timeframe required by the U.S. Navy. The period of performance will be modified for a basic period of four years vice the now 3 years. Individual task orders will be in support of providing system engineering for TACAIR EW IPT for the AN/ALR-67(V)3 and AN/ALE-50A, to support transition of software and systems engineering, total configuration managements, and software and hardware configuration items development and testing for the Navy. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firm, other than Raytheon Company, should respond in accordance with Numbered Note 22.
