- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 1 each - Model ULTRA CFR Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser System; 1 each - Fiber Optic Launch Adapter Module; 2 each - 20 Meter Fiber Cable Assembly; 3 each - 20 Meter Fiber Cable Assembly; 1 each - 20 Meter Fiber Cable Assembly. This requirement is sole sourced to Big Sky Laser, 601 Haggerty Lane, Bozeman, Montana 59715, based on the fact that the energy needs to be greater than 12 mJoules at a wavelength of 1.06 uM for a duration of 17 nsec. Any firms believing that they can provide the Model ULTRA CFR Pulsed Nd:YAG Laser System with Fiber optic launch adapter module and 20 meter fiber cable assembly may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the product without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
