- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis the following items: 4 each - Kestrel Autopilot Version 2.22, part number KAPv2.22; 4 each - Aerocomm 900 mhz modem, part number AC4490; 2 each - Virtual Cockpit 2.3/Commbox 1.1 - with AEROCOMM modem, part number PRTVC2.3; 20 each - JST - 3pos, 6" pigtail - for servo and power connections, part number JST3POS-L6; 4 each - Molex - 5pos, 10" pigtail - for GPS serial connection (2 pigtail set), part number MOLEXPOS-L10; 1 each - Rabbit programming cable + adapter pigtail cable to autopilot connection, part number R101-0513+adap; 1 each - RC Trainer Cable: 15' length - square 6 pin connector for Futaba/compatible radios, part number RCtrain2; 1 each - OnPoint Targeting: single user license. This requirement is sole sourced to Procerus, 478 S. Geneva Rd., Vineyard, UT 84058, based on the fact that they are the only known source that produces and creates micro autopilots that have associated software that will control an aircraft and stabilize the down-linked video in real time. The software is proprietary to the company. Any firms believing that they can provide the product, may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy or reliability of the product without causing programmatic hardship. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
