- Description
- Removal of a 35 GPM well pump/motor and installation of a 60 GPM well pump/motor. Installation of a pressure water tank(s) in the Administrative Building Control Room. In the existing well, install a new well drop pipe, check valve, and pitless adapter. Extend existing 8 inch diameter well casing and install new well cap to meet current Iowa State code requirements. Install new 2 inch water main and directionally bore the water main beneath existing paved surfaces from the well to the administration building. Install new electrical controls and wiring in existing 1 inch conduit for operation of new well pump. Provide and install the pump and motor, pressure tank, all piping and valves, fitting, and controls as required to make a complete system. This solicitation is a request for quote and is issued as unrestricted. The following NAICS code 238220 will apply with the size standard of $13 Million. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps website, www.fbo.gov on or about 28 November 2007. The date and time for receipt of quotes will be on or about 13 December 2007, 4:00 p.m. local time. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the fedbizopps web site for amendments to the solicitation. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Pri ced Contract in accordance with the solicitation procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items/Services. All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. The solicitation will not be available in paper format. All documents required for the offer submittal, including amendments to the offer submittal, shall be in hard copy. Facsimile submittals are not allo wed. Electronic submittal of an offer will not be allowed.
