- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Synopsis/Solicitation Reference Number is W9124Q-08-R-RADIOS. The following is a Request For Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are th ose in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-12. Payment will be made by Government Payment Card (GPC). The Army Contracting Agency has a requirement for the following: 0001: Mobile radios comparable to Motorola CM 300 to put in vehicles 136-145MHz VHF using 12.5 KHz channel spacing/bandwidth with AUX plug at the rear of radio for Remote operation (integrate onto an intercom system to be able to key radio and record audi o from radio system), 45 watts power minimum, must have LCD screen. Quantity - 16 0002: AUX plugs for the above mentioned radios if applicable. Quantity - 16 0003: Ribless programming cables for the above mentioned radios. Quantity - 02 0004: Programming software for the above mentioned radios. Quantity - 01 0005: Decibel Products DB222 Andrews F = 136-143MHz lobe antennas. Quantity - 02 0006: RFS BA1010 Antenna 133-151 MHz Omni directional, fiberglass. Unity gain. Heavy duty radome. Broad frequency response. Quantity - 12 0007: Handheld radio comparable to the Motorola RP 860 136174MHz VHF using 12.5 KHz channel spacing/bandwidth, 5watts power output, with 15 hours battery life, 5.4' x 2.2' x 1.6' (137mm x 57.5mm x 40mm), include antenna, battery and single charger . No L CD display necessary. Quantity - 40 0008: Remote Speaker Microphone for handheld radio quoted above with 3.5 mm earplug jack Quantity - 40 0009: Extra batteries for handhelds above with as much battery life as possible. Quantity - 40 0010: Programming software for the handheld radio mentioned above. Quantity - 01 0011: Ribless programming cable for the handheld radio mentioned above. Quantity - 02 0012: Six (6) station desktop charger for the handheld radio mentioned above. Quantity - 11 0013: Labor to install ONLY five (5) of the mobile radios (Line Item 0001). Quantity - 05 0014: Labor to install ONLY four (4) of the RFS BA1010 antennas, 30 ft cable from radio to bulkhead, 30 ft from bulkhead to antenna and connectors in between. Quantity - 04 0015: Labor to install ONLY two (2) of the DB222 Andrews antenna F=136-143MHz, 30 ft cable from radio to bulkhead, 30 ft from bulkhead to antenna and connectors in between. Quantity 02 Delivery of said items must take place NLT 30 days from date of award. The provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The FAR clause 52-212-4 applies to this acquisition. The FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Additional FAR c lauses that apply to this acquisition include: FAR 52.222-3, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.222-50, 52.225-13, 52.211-11, and 52.232-36. DFARS Clauses incorporated into this combined synopsis/solicitation include DFARS 252.212- 7001 and 252.225-7306 with Alternate I. Proposals must be received no later than 28 November 2007, 1200 MST.
