- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Eisenhower Army Medical Center (EAMC), Fort Gordon, Georgia intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Cerner Corporation, Kansas City, Missouri for the acquisition of the following commercial item: Software and Hardware Upgrade for the Operating Room Management Application (ORMA). This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1) and (FAR 1 3.501). THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES, however; any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 2 days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting e vidence must be furnished in SUFFICIENT detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon resp onses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Governmen t. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses are due on 28 November 2007 by 16:00 p.m. EST. Responses and requests for detail ed information on acquisition requirements shall be submitted via e-mail to veronica.f.sistrunk@us.army.mil. Telephone requests or inquiries will not be accepted
