- This is a sole source requirement for the repair of ten (10) each Airborne Video Cassette Recorder; NSN:5836-01-453-8905 BZ; Manufacturer: DRS Intelligence and Avionic Solutions Inc; Part Number: 2370-0100-03-1; Noun: Airborne Video Cassette Recorder; Application: MH-53 Helicopter, PaveLow Aircraft. This requirement is for the repair of a firm total quantity of 10 each with no options. Destination: SW3119 (Robins AFB, GA). Delivery Schedule: 90 days ARO or after receipt of Reparable Assets, whichever comes later. A firm fixed price repair contract is anticipated to be awarded to: DRS Intelligence and Avionic Solutions Inc, CAGE Code: 0CDN3, 4391 Dayton Xenia Rd, Dayton, OH 45432-1803. Request for written quote in response to written solicitation. Anticipated Award Date: Monday, January 8, 2008. Numbered Notes: 22, 26 apply. Intended Source: DRS Intelligence and Avionic Solutions Inc, CAGE Code: 0CDN3 since the item must be acquired from a manufacturing source specified on the source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in government possession and cannot be economically obtained. ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTE WHICH SHALL BE CONSIDERED BY THE AGENCY. Solicitation will be uploaded to FBO.
