- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price indefinite delivery/requirements type contract for the provision of an Advanced Occupational Education (post-secondary) certificate program in Business Management. Contractor must be an accredited post-secondary school. Contractor must have experience in establishing and overseeing certification programs in advanced education and business management. This program should consist of two five-course (fifteen credit) modules, each leading to a one-year certificate in a distinct aspect of business management. Classes must be scheduled so that students can complete each module within the one year time frame. Classes will be comprised of 15 - 20 male inmate students. It is anticipated a Contractor will provide a site coordinator and instructor(s) for this service. The contract period for all services shall consist of a (12) month base year with two (2) twelve (12) month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantity for the base and each option year is 5 courses each year. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 26, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The web site for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about December 21, 2007. The anticipated effective date of award is February 1, 2008. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 611310 and the applicable small business standard is $6.5 million. The solicitation is unrestricted. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
