- Description
- USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service is announcing a project under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program for Newton County, Texas. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for site preparation, fabrication and installation of timber headwalls; rock riprap armoring on ends of culverts; installing rock chutes in road ditches; and/or removal of debris in the natural channels. There are 26 sites requiring work, located in Precincts 1, 2 and 3 in Newton County. A minimum of two crews will be required.
