Description

The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to LAI International Inc./LAI East, 1110 Business Parkway S., Westminster, MD 21157 for the purchase of armored steel perforated plates in support of the EFP program. There are no NSNs for these items. The part numbers are for the left side is 12513756 and the right side is 125113801. The contract type will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The estimated contract quantity is a maximum 75 each of the right and 75 each of the left part numbers for a to tal of 150 items in total. The Government does possess drawings however, interested suppliers must be a qualified supplier of this material by the Army Research Laboratory (ARL), located at the Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The NAICS code is 331111 and t he FSC code is 2510. All respondents shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this noti ce prior to November 29, 2007. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Go vernment not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competiti ve procurement.
