- Description
- The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) seeks to reduce its backlog of approximately 72,500 FOIA requests currently facing the USCIS National Records Center (NRC), at Lee's Summit , Missouri, within a two year period. Work will be done in a government facility at the NRC in Lee's Summit, Missouri. Up to two shifts per day may be used. Contractors shall be capable of performing the following FOIA Request related activities: Review requests for content and consent; prepare relevant correspondence; coordinate with the FOIA requester on issues concerning document release, fees and other items; review, screen and redact documents; identify and apply FOIA exemptions; and prepare responses to requestors.
