- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY TO PRE-QUALIFY VENDORS. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME AND THIS IS NOT A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The United States Senate Sergeant at Arms (SAA) requires new television studio sets for the Senate Recording Studio (SRS) facility to be located in the Capitol Visitor Center (CVC). The SRS provides television studios to the United States Senate, broadcasts committee hearings, and interconnects with the Senate TV facility, which disseminates live feeds from the Senate. This SAA requires a vendor with demonstrated experience in the design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of high-definition television studio sets. The vendor shall: analyze requirements; develop draft set designs; upon draft set designs approval, develop detailed set designs; construct, deliver and install the sets; and provide lighting assistance to enhance set pieces. The time frame for completion of the sets will be August 2008. Requirements: The SAA invites all qualified sources to respond to this sources sought notice.
