- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has a requirement for alteration and repair services at SSA buildings located in Baltimore City and Baltimore County, MD. This requirement includes complete construction services to accomplish the following types of work: acoustical, plastering, carpentering, masonry, electrical, plumbing and painting. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for a minimum dollar amount of $200,000 and a maximum dollar amount of $3 million per year for a base year and four option years (if exercised). This acquisition has been determined to be a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 236220. The small business size standard is $31 million. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer that will be considered by the Agency. Solicitation SSA-RFP-08-1012 will be posted on this website on or about December 5, 2007 with proposals due 30 calendar days thereafter. The solicitation will inform offerors about the site visit. Potential offerors will be responsible for monitoring this website for release of the solicitation, amendments (if any), and responses to any questions in accordance with provisions. The performance period for this effort is expected to begin on or about April 17, 2008. See Note 1.
