- Description
- The International Boundary & Water Commission, United States Section (USIBWC), requires the furnishing of labor, materials, and equipment to rehabilitation of approximately three and three-tenths (3.3) miles of existing levee, from just north of the Hidalgo ? Reynosa International Bridge (near the end of the floodwall) to approximately three and three-tenths (3.3) miles north. The levee elevation is to be raised approximately four (4) to nine (9) feet. Various appurtenances to the levee (sluice gates, pipe crossings, connecting roadways, etc.) are to be rehabilitated also, to accommodate the new height of the levee. The project is located near the City of Hidalgo, Hidalgo County, Texas.
