Description
The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) ? SW Region, MCB Camp Pendleton is seeking information on sources for Non-personal Temporary Hire Services. NAICS Code 561320. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only. Please note that RCO-SW Region will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties responding to this RFI. No proposals are being requested or accepted under this RFI. RCO-SW is assessing the existence of 8(a), service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), small disadvantaged business, woman-owned small business, and HubZone sources that possess an in-depth understanding of the requirements listed herein. Emailed or faxed responses will be accepted. Responses shall be limited to no more than 10 pages and shall address the source?s knowledge, abilities, and experience with the following: Providing non-personal personnel support services on a ?temporary or contingent? basis. The Contractor?s capability statement shall include the total number of temporary positions they fill on an annual basis. The Government is seeking information from a private sector temporary help service establishments primarily engaged in supplying workers to clients? businesses for brief or intermittent periods of time. The private sector firm is the legally responsible employer and supervisor of the temporary worker and maintains that relationship during the time its employees are assigned to a customer. The Contractor shall provide temporary support services to authorized ordering activities. The services will be of a temporary clerical, administrative, professional, automatic data processing, general services and support, information and arts, and technical and professional nature. The Contractor shall also provide long term religious services positions. Facilities management-type services are not being solicited, but may be added in the future. Tasks may vary depending upon the assignment. Assignments may require specialized knowledge of current procedures routinely used by these occupational categories in the private sector. Business will be transactional: An authorized ordering officer will place an order for services, and the Contractor will fit the customer with a temporary employee(s) reporting to the customer site. Currently, temporary services are required primarily in California and Arizona. However, the Government reserves the right to add or delete work sites throughout the region within the jurisdiction of the Regional Contracting Office, Southwest (RCO-SW). The RCO-SW region is defined as all Marine Corps units in the states of California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Colorado, Alaska, Idaho, Nebraska, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. 95%f the temp services are required in California and 5% are required in Arizona.
