Description
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN), Charleston (SSC Charleston), in response to priority initiative promulgated by the Department of Defense (DOD) and other agencies, requires technical and maintenance services for Automated Tank Gauging (ATG), Automated Fuel Service Stations (AFSS), Automated Fuel Handling Equipment (AFHE), Environmental Leak Detection Equipment, Airfield Refueling Electrical Supervision and Control Systems (ARES), Physical and Electronic Sensor Systems (ESS) and associated systems to include maintenance management, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and operational support. To meet this need, SSC Charleston is soliciting information from potential sources for interested in providing Technical and Maintenance services in support of Automated Fuel Handling Equipment. This is a follow-on effort, the services are currently being provided under multiple award contracts to three contractors under N65236-04-D- 7850/7851/7852. This notice is for planning purposes only. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued for an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity Cost plus Fixed Fee type contract with task orders. Firms are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures and references to support that they possess the required specialized experience and capability to meet or exceed ALL the following requirements: Tasks will generally be of the following nature: technical, administrative and management services to include scheduling, Configuration Management, Logistics Management and Quality Control; preventive maintenance to include testing, calibration and inspection; corrective maintenance; trouble-call services and support; operational support to remove, store, re-install, re-calibrate and test equipment; and system installation to include modifications, upgrades, removal, relocation and salvaging. The contractor may be required to perform specific tasks were previous work, documentation, and/or procurement are provided by the Government, e.g., the contractor may be tasked to perform maintenance related support based on technical documents, engineering plans or engineering drawings provided by the Government. Some requirements may include urgent initiative requiring rapid response. Responses must include the following: (1) name and address of firm; (2) size of business; average annual revenue for past 3 years and number of employees; (3) ownership: Large, Small, Small Disadvantage, 8(a), and/ or Woman-Owned; (4) number of years in business; (5) two points of contact: name, title, phone, fax and email; (6) DUNS number and Cage Code (if available); (7) affiliate information: parent corporation, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential prime); (8) a list of customers covering the past 5 years: highlight relevant work, including a summary of work performed, contract number, contract type, dollar value for each customer reference, and customer point of contact with phone number and email address. NOTICE REGARDING SYNOPSIS: This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requests.
