- Description
- The Bureau of Indian Affairs intends to award several multi-year indefinite delivery contracts to qualified Native American contractors to conduct workplace inspections and evaluations at BIA offices, detention facilities, and schools located throughout the United States. This procurement is 100 per cent set-aside for Native American businesses which are at least 51 per cent owned, controlled, and managed by Indians who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes as authorized by the Buy Indian Act (25 USC 47). The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP)in which contractors will be asked to submit separate technical and cost proposals. Technical proposals will be reviewed and evaluated in accordance with evaluation criteria stated in the RFP. Individual delivery orders will be issued against each contract. Each contractor is guaranteed an amount of $2,500, whether it receives an order or not. Native American contractors interested in obtaining a copy of the solicitation may request it by contacting the contracting officer. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Potential contractors may register at www.ccr.gov.
