- Description
- It is the Government's intent to award on a sole source basis a requirement for repair of the Propeller Assembly for a quantity of two(2) each NSN: None, P/N: HCE4N3GD9390K1R. This requirement is in support of the GREECE BEECH FMS program. Authority cited: Statutory authority permitting other that full and open competition for this requirement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by paragraph 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) entitled- Only one source or a limited number of respo nsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The existing unique design capability, engineering skills and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source required acquisition of the parts required from the approved s ource only. The approved source retains the necessary data, manufacturing knowledge, and or technical data that are not economically available to the government. This acquisition will be awarded to Hartzell Propeller Inc., 1 Propeller PL., Piqua, OH 4535 6-2655 All approved, responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency.
