- Please note THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a ?sources sought? announcement only. The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) Acquisition Division (A7KS) is conducting market research to identify any interested parties in performing services as an ?Operations Research Analyst? to the HQ Air Force Office of Special Investigations (HQ AFOSI), Andrews AFB, MD. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this market research or otherwise pay for the information solicited. This request is issued for planning purposes only. The AFOSI requires continual contract services for one (1) Operations Research Analyst. Personnel assigned to this position shall meet all requirements as set forth in the attached document which outlines the key points of a potential future Performance Work Statement. The contractor shall perform tasks concerning both classified and unclassified levels. The attached document explains the specific security clearance required. All interested parties are asked to submit short capability packages along with their rate for this labor category. Vendors must be in the Central Contractor Registration to do business with the Government. The capability package must be clear, concise, complete and limited to no more than ten (10) pages, and shall include, at a minimum: (1) name and address of firm; size/ownership of business, i.e. large, small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Disabled-Veteran, Veteran, Woman-owned or Hub Zone; (2) point of contact with name, title, phone, fax and e-mail; (3) Cage code, Duns Number and Tax Identification Number; (4) Identify if your rate is off a GSA Schedule (include schedule number) or open market (fully burdened); (5) explain experience and familiarity with providing research analyst support services. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 541990. All interested sources must respond to any future solicitation that may be issued separate from this Sources Sought Notice. All packages must be received by 12:00 PM EST on 29 Nov 07.
