- Description
- The U.S. Department of State, Regional Procurement Support Office and the U.S. Embassy, Bogota are seeking qualified offerors for the construction of a hydro-sanitary system for approximately 400 personnel at the Colombia National Police (CNP) station located in Villagarzon (Putumayo), Colombia. The CNP is located in a zone considered hostile with difficult access. Construction will include the following utilities: Water well 60 meters deep, water system, sanitary system and storm drainage system for existing station. The project also entails site preparation, civil works and electrical installations for system operational purposes. Construction will need to be performed without interrupting ongoing operations at the base. The solicitation is planned for release to qualified offerors on or about mid-October, with award of a contract anticipated before the end of 2007. It is anticipated that construction will start as soon as possible after contract award, with a performance period of approximately one hundred thirty (130) calendar days from contract execution to substantial completion. The resulting contract type will be firm fixed-price, and the estimated value of construction is between U.S. $300,000 and $500,000. Lindquist at 954-630-1165, or by e-mail to LindquistRA@state.gov within ten days of publication of this advertisement. Proposals will be accepted from both U.S. and non-U.S. firms.
