- Description
- Project is Security Forces Operations Facility, and will be constructed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Project will be approximately 37,000 square feet in size, and will include space for offices, weapons storage, ammunition storage, guard mount , fitness room, personal lockers, classrooms, storage, and holding cells. Project will also include providing utilities, parking, landscaping, and demolition of an existing building. The acquisition strategy will be design/build, and the estimated award date is March 2008. Proposals will be evaluated based on the following technical factors: Experience of the Prime Contractor and Design Contractor; Past Performance of the Prime Contractor and Design Contractor, Technical Approach, Price and Pro Forma R equirements. All evaluation factors, other than cost or price, when combined, are equal to cost or price. The estimated price range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. NAICS is 236220. Contract duration is 560 calendar days. Approximate issue date is Nov 30, 2007 and approximate closing date is Jan 10, 2007. A Pre-proposal meeting at Scott AFB is planned for 13 December 2007 at 0900 local time. Exact time and location will be noted in solicitation. Pre-registration of all names of people that plan to attend the pre-proposal conference is required by 5 December 2007.
