- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a contract for Preventive Maintenance and Calibration Services to maintain Medical Laser Equipment located in the following California VA Medical Centers: Fresno, Livermore, Martinez, Mather, Oakland, Palo Alto, Redding and in Reno, Nevada. Contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, parts, materials, supervision and travel to provide maintenance in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. Service covers 24 Medical Lasers and consists of calibration and testing, which is to be performed 2 times a year. PM includes cleaning, inspecting, lubricating, and testing all equipment. Equipment manufacturers include Coherent, Zeiss, Index, Laserex/Ellex, Omnilux, and Lumenis. Period of performance is December 1, 2007 through November 30, 2008. Contract period is 1 year plus two option periods. This requirement is subject to availability of Fiscal Year funds. The magnitude of the estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 and $75,000 for the three year period. This requirement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation closing date is November 26, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. The NAICS is 811219 and Size Standard is $6.5M. Contractors are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov prior to award of any contract. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
