- Description
- The Department of Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, Palo Alto, hereby solicits proposals for the following: Services non personal to provide all materials, parts, labor, transportation and equipment to replace sewer ejector pumps at the Department of Veterans Affairs Palo Alto facility. Work will include but is not limited to purchase and installation of two each sewer ejector pumps, Vaughn Model SE4K60089 or equal. Contractor to remove existing pumps, disconnect wiring from pumps and oil line, then using existing slide mechanism, drop new pumps into place, reconnect wiring and oil line, fill oil lines with new hydraulic oil and test for proper operation. The Vaughn Model pump is specified for ease of removal and installation. If contractor is proposing an equal product they must identify it below and must be able to fit existing design located on rail and in a 30' sump as well as meeting all salient characteristics of the referenced pump. If an equal is approved the contractor shall be responsible for modifications to existing piping, electrical and rail to ensure proper operation. This solicitation is set aside for Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Businesses. NAICS code is 238290. Solicitation will be posted on/about 19 Nov 07.
