- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking competent and qualified contractors interested in providing offers to perform work as listed in the title of the announcement, and as synopsized below. The work will consists of the construction of a new Pre Fabricated 12' X 12' RCAG Communications Shelter, building foundation, as well as, rewiring existing antennas towers and installation of new building's grounding system and the removal of an existing trailer/storage shelter at the Jefferson County Airport Remote Transmitter Receiver. This project will also consist of adding 4" of new crushed limestone to the entire plot and the new addition to the proposed building addition and surrounding existing towers (4) site. All work shall be accomplished according to the plans and specifications that will be provided. 1. Contract performance time is 90 days. This construction project is being procured by full and open competition. 2. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 236220 and the small business size standard is $31 Million. 3. The dollar range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. 4. Contractor is expected to perform at least 15 % of the work utilizing the contractor's own employees. 5. A mandatory pre-bid site visit is tentatively scheduled for January 3, 2008. The exact date, time, and location will be confirmed with those contractors cleared to receive the solicitation package 6. The anticipated start date for this project will be the week of February 11, 2008. 7. Contractor MUST be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before contract award. Contractors can register on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. Contractors who are interested in providing an offer on this project must provide the following information: company name, phone number, fax number, point of contact, complete the SENSITIVE SECURITY INFORMATION (note: list of employees and list of subcontractor requirements on page 2 of the Sensitive Security Information form) and BUSINESS DECLARATION forms. FAILURE TO SUBMIT ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION WILL DEEM THE REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION AS NON-RESPONSIVE.
