- Description
- USCG, Maintenance & Logistics Command, Pacific (vpl-1) in Oakland, CA, proposes to contract for Dry-Dock and Repairs of USCGC BOUTWELL (WHEC 719), a 378? cutter, home moorage in Alameda, CA. The period of performance to accomplish this requirement is 23 April 2008 through 17 June 2008. A geographical restriction of 75 road miles within the cutter?s home moorage is applicable under this requirement. Work may include, but is not limited to the following: production control GANTT Bar chart; hull plating No. 1-commercial; hull plating renewal No.2 ?Commercial; hull plating, underwater body inspect; hull plating, underwater body ultrasonic testing; appendages (underwater) leak test; tanks (MP Fuel stowage & overflow) clean & inspect; tanks (chain locker) clean and inspect; engine room longitudinal repair; expansion joint renewal; propulsion shaft seals (mechanical) inspect, clean, and adjust; propulsion shaft bearings (external) check clearances; CPP system general maintenance; hubs general maintenance; propeller clean & inspect; fathometer transducers general maintenance; sea strainers (all sizes) overhaul; sea valves and waster pieces (<= 2.5 inch.) renew; sea valves and waster pieces (>2.5 inch) overhaul; potable water pneumatic tank relief valves renew; condensate piping renewal; steam piping renewal; rudder stock bearings check clearances; temporary services, dry-dock provide; sea trials, dry-docking accomplish.
