- The USDA Forest Service has a requirment to obtain the services of water handling equipment for the Eastern Region for tactical and support tenders, for local, regional, and nationwide fire suppression, all hazard, and severity activities. The Eastern Region includes Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Multiple awards resulting from this Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be in the form of Emergency Eequipment Rental Agreements which may be used by multiple state and federal agencies. The agreement (base and 2 option years) is for the period, date of award through December 31, 2008 with annual review and possibly two, one-year renewal extensions thereafter. This is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 115310. The Small Business size standard for Forest Fire Suppression is $16.5 million.
