- Description
- This is an unrestricted acquisition for Fresh Bread and Bakery products for DoD and non-DoD customers in the state of California. Major delivery points include the following: Marine Corps Recruit Depot, MCAS Miramar, Miramar Brig, Naval Medical Center (Balboa Hospital), Naval Sub Base, Naval San Clement Naval Fleet Hospital, and Camp Pendleton (bakery items only). This acquisition is divided into two groups. Group 1 consists of bread and Group 2 consists of bakery items. The contract period will be for twelve (12) months, with delivery beginning February 10, 2008 and ending February 7, 2009. All materials to be used in fabrication are to be furnished by the successful offeror(s). All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the Defesnse Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP). Copies of the solicitation can be found on the DLA-BSM Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. If not already registered, propospective offeror(s) will be required to do so prior to viewing and downloading a copy of the solicitation. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). In order to download and view these documents, prospective offerors will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available for free at http://adobe.com. Anticipated solicitation release date is October 3, 2007. Anticipated proposal due date is October 17, 2007.
