- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard has a requirement to establish a maintenance parts and technical services system to support the WMSL Power Distribution System installed on the National Security Cutter (NSC). The major components of this system are as follows: Three 450 Volt 1S Ship Service Switchboards; 450 volts alternating current 3 phase, 3 wire, 60 hertz (Hz) power utilized for the protection and control of the Generator and provides the electric power distribution system; Input rated at 3000 amperes and two 3000 ampere rated bus tie circuit breakers to link the 1S but to the ring bus power architecture of the NSC. The system includes engineering support activities, acquisition logistics support program, integrated logistics support activities, technical manuals, and other various data requirements to support activities of the WMSL Power Distribution System. This will be an Other Than Full and Open Competition Requirement using the Ship Service Switchboard Support Services Contract Vendor. All labor shall be performed by the original equipment manufacturer certified and authorized machinists, mechanics and technicians.
