Description
This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The following is a Request for Quote (RFQ), W91B4N-08-Q-0017, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-17 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20070531. It is the vendor?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. All items are to be shipped to Bagram AF, Afghanistan, Attn: SrA Benjamin Brown, APO AE, 09354. 0001 Lombardi Diesel Engine/ Pump Assembly; model 3307 10HP diesel engine; quantity 2 ea 0002 Lombardi Diesel Engine/ Pump Assembly w/ Trailer & Water tank Assembly (pressure washers); model 3307 10HP, diesel engine, GPM 3.5, 3000 PSI, 225 gallon water tank, 10 ft single axle trailer, 100 ft hose to include hose reel and nozzles, 35 gal soap tank; quantity 4 ea ****Special Note: all quotes to include shipping directly to Bagram Air Base**** The following Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses apply: FAR.232-18 ? Please submit signed and dated quotes on company letterhead with unit prices, unit total prices, and delivery direct to Bagram AF, Afghanistan, estimated delivery time, and total offer amount. The Government will consider the following factors in determining the most advantageous offer to the Government: technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government?s requirement as defined in the item technical specification for all CLIN?s above; delivery time to Bagram Air Field Afghanistan; price; and past performance. Vendors are encouraged to propose multiple means of delivery of the product and corresponding prices. All offers must be submitted no later than 1630 Kabul/ 1200 GMT/ 0800 EST, 16 November 2007.
