- NAICS Code: 334516 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to TSI, Incorporation, 500 Cardigan Road, Shoreview, MN 55126, for the acquisition of SMPS components ( Model 3080L NCR Electrostatic Classifier and SMPS Interface Package for 3080).TSI Incorporation, is the only know source for component that are fully compatible with existing hardware currently in use in EPA laboratory. Retaining compatibility with existing systems provides with existing systems provides considerable cost savings and assures that new data will be readily comparable with previously collected samples. The circumstance permitting "Other than full and open competition" is FAR 13.106-1 (b) only one source reasonably available. The intent of this notice is to determine if any other source(s) exist; and therefore, no solicitation (RFQ) is available. Consequently, any response failing to provide the aforementioned data and instead choosing to merely submit a routine letter requesting a copy of the RFQ will be ignored. The information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties who can meet the above requirements may submit written qualification statements, fully explaining their capability no later than 10 days after the date of this publication.
