- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for Versalink P-1000 liquid without string resonance test. NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement for the Versalink P-1000 with Air Products and Chemicals Inc. Air Products and Chemicals Inc. is the only source for this proprietary formulated curative. The Versalink P-1000 is a two-part adhesive used as a standard Navy bonding agent called Versathene and only available through Air Products and Chemicals Inc. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources submitting proposals within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the di scretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Anticipated award date is on or around 29 Nov. 2007.
