Description

This announcement is issued to identify potential sources and gather information on current capabilities within the market. The Government is contemplating a construction project for HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM Improvements to include design, engineering, and construction. Project magnitude is estimated at $1M -$4M with a project completion date estimated for 30 SEP 2009. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 238210. The size standard is $13 million. The acquisition method will be a two-phase design-build process with an award based on the best value concept. The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. When the Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.fedbizopps.gov. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials or owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The first phase of the RFP is estimated to be issued on or about December 21, 2007. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerrors at anytime prior to award.
