- SYNOPSIS W911S8-07-B-0001 EXTERNAL WINDOW CLEANING SERVICES, MADIGAN ARMY MEDICAL CENTER (MAMC) Fort Lewis, WA 98433 ACA Northern Region, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lewis, Washington intends to solicit sealed bids for a contractor to provide personnel, management, supervision, equipment, transportation, parts, materials, and other items and services required to pe rform exterior window cleaning services located at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Fort Lewis, Washington. A complete performance work statement (PWS) will be included in the solicitation. In accordance with the PWS the contractor shall have a minimu m of five (5) years window cleaning business experience, and shall have high-rise window cleaning capabilities and experience. The solicitation will result in the award to a single contractor of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. This procurement is a 100% sma ll business set aside. The anticipated period of performance is from 1 May 2008 to 30 April 2009 for a base period plus four (4) one-year option periods. The Invitation For Bids (IFB) number is W911S8-08-B-0001. The applicable NAICS code is 561720 and the small business size standard is $15 Million. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the Fed Biz Opps website, http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Fort Lewis Directorate of Contracting website, http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc/, under Solicitations. The tentative issue date is 3 December 2007 and the anticipated bid opening date is 9 January 2008. A pre-bid conference and site walk-through visit will be conducted at the Fort Lewis Direct orate of Contracting and Madigan Army Medical Center with a tentative date of 11 December 2007. Interested bidders are encouraged to review the actual solicitation for the final IFB issue, pre-bid conference, and bid opening dates and times. Prospective b idders are urged to submit any questions resulting from the IFB via e-mail to Bill Hatchett, william.h.hatchett@us.army.mil, by Thursday 13 December 2007. A summary of all questions received and Government responses will be compiled and posted to the Direc torate of Contracting website at http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc. Bids from all capable and responsible sources will be considered. Firms offering bids as a response to the solicitation should ensure registration in the Central Contractor Registration data base at http://www.ccr.gov/ prior to bid submission, and ensure NAICS code 561720 is included in the vendors registration profile.
