- The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, intends to make a sole source award to Time Warner Entertainment to provide internet, cable television and local telephone services to Fort Drum. This purchase will be mad e under simplified acquisition procedures and other than full and open competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is neither a request for competitive proposals nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement is based on only one source with the ability to provide wired communication to Fort Drum. Any responses received will be considered solely at the discretion of the Government and only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competit ive procurement.
