- Description
- Furnish all labor, material and equipment necessary to perform maintenance dredging at U.S. Coast Guard Eatons Neck Station, Northport, Suffolk County, NY. The work includes dredging and disposal of an estimated quantity of 6,500 cubic yards of material. Hydraulic dredging is not permitted. This Invitation for Bids is 100% set-aside for small business participation for which the applicable small business size standard is $18.5 Million average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years. All work must be completed within 45 calendar days after receipt of the award. A 20% Bid Bond is required and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required after award. The applicable NAICS Code is 237990. The tentative bid opening date is 29 December 2007. Bid packages will be available on or about 28 November 2007 at a non-refundable charge of $17. Certified Checks or money orders should be made payable to AlphaGraphics and mailed to the firm at: 423 Bloomfield Ave., Montclair, NJ 07043. Do not send fees to the Coast Guard. All relevant solicitation documents including specifications and drawings may also be accessed for download for free commencing on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov/. Any amendments issued under this solicitation shall also be posted on this website. Vendors are required to be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) at www.fedteds.gov to download the technical data package. All vendors interested in teaming or subcontracting for this solicitation, should click on [Register as Interested Vendor].
