- The US Army Sustainment Command (ASC) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), W52P1J-08-R-0001, to the Army Single Face to Industry Web(ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ on or about November 21, 2007 with a closing date of 04 January 2008. The acquisition will be solicited as a Total Small Business Set Aside. This requirement is for the demilitarization of small caliber ammunition 5.56 mm, 7.62 mm, 30 caliber and 50 caliber. A detailed Statement of Work and listings of assets to be demilled will be provided with the Solicitation that specifically outlines the requirements. The solicitation will be issued as a firm fixed price, four (4) year Requirements Contract. Best Value Tradeoff Processes in accordance with FAR 15.101-1 are bein g utilized to select the successful offeror. Delivery and FOB terms shall be included in the solicitation. All contractors who provide goods/services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). If you are not registered in CCR, you cannot be awarded a DoD contract. The Internet site for registering in the C CR is http://www.ccr.gov/.
