- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC), Terre Haute, Indiana, has a requirement of 1,375 tons of sodium chloride. Salt delivery will be scheduled during the period of December 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008. Approximately 25 tons per delivery by pneumatic truck. The contract type is a firm fixed price supply contract. The award will be made to the responsible business/individual who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The solicitation will be available on or after November 7, 2007, and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about November 27, 2007. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website is www.ccr.gov. Faith Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the Bureau of Prisons.
