- Description
- The National Assessment Governing Board is preparing to conduct research to inform Governing Board policy for reporting preparedness of 12th grade students in reading and mathematics on the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). A series of content alignment studies will be required to evaluate the extent to which NAEP content aligns with the content of other key assessments that have the potential to serve as indicators of preparedness on NAEP. One of the two widely utilized college admissions assessments in the United States is the SAT which is administered by The College Board, 45 Columbus Circle, New York, NY 10023-6992. This test is a key source of information regarding student preparedness for higher education. The assistance of the College Board is required to access data and other proprietary information for conducting studies that will inform reporting 12th grade preparedness.
