Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, FL intends to issue a sole source award to Bellsouth Telecommunications, Inc., d/b/a AT&T Southeast, 2180 Lake Blvd., mail code 11B01, Atlanta, GA 30319-6004 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and in accordance with FAR6.302-1. The proposed service is for AT&T to provide cable maintenance support at the Base Communications Office as required on AT&T owned line and cable plants. Also, provide additional support for services outside the scope of the basis agreement. Maintenance support provides provisioning voice and data circuits beyond the established demarcation sites, provide remedial maintenance and minor repairs on AT&T owned telephone cable plants at Naval Air Station Pensacola. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price requirements contract. NAICS Code 811213 and Business Size $ 6.5 million apply. This synopsis is published for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquires concerning this requirement shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
