- Description
- CNRNW Port Operation Maintenance Transformation Project, initiated in August 2007, supports the transformation of Port Operations maintenance processes to help ensure that Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) assets are best able to provide mission critical support to Fleet ships and submarines. The objective of the project is to implement a system that will optimally enhance preventive and corrective maintenance management practices. The RFI will be used for the purpose of exchanging information to improve the understanding of Government requirements and industry capabilities, thereby allowing potential offerors to judge whether or how they can satisfy the Government's requirements, and enhancing the Government's ability to obtain quality supplies and services at reasonable prices, and increase efficiency in proposal preparation, proposal evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
