- E.C. Announcement The U. S. Geological Survey, is accepting proposals for the production and delivery of 348 lead ballast blocks, each measuring 2"x 4"x 14" and weighing approximately 46 lbs. The lead blocks for ballast have to be delivered to Oswego, NY for installation in the KAHO during the 2007-2008 winter. The lead bricks will have to be shipped to the Port of Oswego Authority, East Side Dock, Oswego, NY 13126 as the USGS facility in Oswego is not equipped to handle this type of freight. Blocks must be delivered to Oswego, NY in early December for installation to be completed before the 2008 field season. Please see RFQ 08ERQQ0032 for specific requirements and SOW. All responsible sources with a valid DUNS number and CCR registration may submit a proposal with quotation which shall be considered by USGS. The request for quote, 08ERQQ0032, with Statement of Work and Evaluation Factors can be found at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
