Description: This modification to the original announcement is to add more discriptive info on the requirement. See paragraphs below. This 3 phase power transformer requirement shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the following: a. Design, manufacture, factory test, deliver f.o.b. Garrison powerplant two (2) 128,000 kVA, 13.2/115 kV, ODAF, three-phase Class II generator step-up (GSU) power transformers and accessories. b. Offload transformers at the Garrison powerplant at the designated long-term storage location, reassemble, oil-fill, and perform field tests. c. Furnish jacks, blocks and tools. d. Furnish spare parts. e. Perform work required to comply with the site operations, environmental protection, and safety and health provisions. This contract will be administered by The US Army Corps of Engineers - Omaha District after award The administrative/contracting point of contract is Ray Greenheck at (503) 808-4616. The Solicitation Package (technical data package) will be available for download from FedTeDs, www.fedteds.gov on or about 20 November 2008 with proposals due about 21 J anuary 2008.
