- VA263-08-RQ-0077 .. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION DOCUMENT THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED; A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED BUT IN RESPONSE OFFERORS MUST REFER TO RFQ VA263-08-RQ-0077. The above FAR 6.302/VAAR 810.005 authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by Brand Name Only equipment as listed below. This is a notice of intent for a Brand Name Only acquisition. The Government will consider all proposals received. SEE Numbered Note 22. .. The Government anticipates entering into sole source purchase negotiations with HydroWorx, Middleton, PA for 1) Pool, Therapy, HydroWorx 2000 that includes an adjustable floor, variable-speed treadmill, hand-held remote, computer demonstration and software package, large treatment area, removable stainless steel support bars, variable water temperature, commercial filtration system, 30 kW water heater, and heart rate monitoring system; 2) Resistance Therapy Jet , 3) Automatic Water Leveling System, 4) Underwater Video Monitoring System, 5) Automatic Water Chemistry System, 6) Additional 5 ft Massage Hose, 2 each, 7) Additional 15 ft Massage Hose, 2 each, 8) Operator Manuals, 9) Service Manuals, 2 each, 10) Installation. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302, FAR 6.302-3(a)(2) and VAAR 810.005. The authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by Brand Name ONLY equipment. .. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. NAICS code is 339112 and the small business size standard is 500. Award will be a firm fixed-price contract with payment in arrears. The government will award to obtain the best value for the government, price, price-related factors and technical capability considered and are approximately equal. Notwithstanding Numbered Note 22 the following incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect and are applicable to this acquisition; OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISION AT 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS, WITH THEIR OFFER.
